President Bhandari honours female doctors for their contributions to Nepal’s health service

Kathmandu: President Vidhya Devi Bhandari has honoured female doctors who made significant contributions to Nepal’s medicine and health service sectors.

In a function organized by Nepal Medical Association at President’s office in Shital Niwas today, President Bhandari honoured 5 female doctors with the Women in Medicine Lifetime Award and 10 female doctors with the Women in Medicine Award.

President of Nepal Medical Association Dr. Lochan Karki appreciated the role played by female doctors during the crisis including the Covid 19 pandemic and the earthquake.
