Biden, Xi, and Putin to attend G20 Summit (audio report)

August 20, Kathmandu: US President Joe Biden, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and Russian President Vladimir Putin are all planning to participate in the G20 Summit to be held in November in Bali, Indonesia.
The President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, informed that the participation of the three most powerful heads of state in the conference had been confirmed.
The BBC reports, quoting the Indonesian President, that has been confirmed that the heads of state of the three countries – the US, China, and Russia – will participate in the summit which is going to be held for the first time after the Russo-Ukrainian war and the increase in tensions between China and the US over Taiwan.
Russian President Putin will be embarking on a foreign visit for the first time since the Russo-Ukrainian war. Similarly, Chinese President Xi will also be leaving the country for the first time since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
