House of Representatives endorses 4 separate bills

Kathmandu: The meeting of the House of Representatives has endorsed 4 separate bills.

The House meeting today endorsed the Public Debt Management Bill 2022, the Animal Health and Animal Services Council bill 2022, Standard Measures (Fifth Amendment) Bill-2021, and the Accreditation Bill-2021.

In the meeting, the line ministers presented the respective bills in the House for their endorsement and responded to queries raised by lawmakers.

Earlier, lawmakers had drawn the attention of the government to contemporary issues.

The lawmakers demanded the proper management of the landless squatters, expediting development activities and effective waste management of the Kathmandu valley among others.

Likewise, some lawmakers expressed concerns if the directives issued by the Home Ministry regarding the correction of derogatory names in citizenships were implemented. 

Some Lawmakers welcomed the return of the Citizenship bill terming it as an opportunity to build national consensus.
