Lawmakers urge government to make letter sent to US government regarding Nepal’s non-participation in SPP public

Kathmandu: The Lawmakers have urged the government to make the letter sent to the US government regarding Nepal’s non-participation in the US State Partnership Programme public.

Speaking in the meeting of the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Committee of State Directive Principles of the federal parliament, UML Lawmaker Bhim Rawal blamed the government for shying away from its responsibility of unveiling the letter.

In the meeting held at Singhdurbar on Thursday, the lawyers stressed making the letter available to the committee.

Committee president Niru Devi Jairu said the committee would rewrite the government demanding the government’s documents regarding the SPP.
