Coronavirus infection increasing: Country records 177 new cases

Kathmandu: Cases of coronavirus infection are increasing day by day in the country. The country has recorded 177 new cases of coronavirus today. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the cases were detected in course of conducting 3,126 tests.

The country recorded 121 coronavirus cases on July 10 and 168 on July 11. There are 873 active cases of coronavirus in the country. Similarly, 41 people recovered from the virus during the period. With this, the number of people who recovered from the virus has reached 967,765 so far.

The recovery rate is 98.7 per cent, according to the Ministry. A total of 853 infected are in home isolation, 20 in institutional isolation, one in ventilator support and 11 in ICU. Sixty-four thousand nine hundred seven people received vaccines in the last 24 hours.
