We will be sending students back to China from Tuesday: Spokesperson Lamsal (audio report)

July 3, Kathmandu: The Government of Nepal (GoN) is preparing to send Nepali students back to China starting on Tuesday to continue their studies.
Hundreds of Nepali students who had returned to Nepal after the Covid-19 outbreak in China were waiting for the day to return to China to pursue their education.
During a press conference on Sunday, the Spokesperson at the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Sewa Lamsal, informed that 2 hundred and 81 Nepali students would return to China in the first phase starting on Tuesday.
Spokesperson Lamsal added that the ministry was working to send all 8 hundred and 50 students back to China in collaboration with the Chinese Embassy.
The Spokesperson further said the government had highly prioritized the issues raised by the Ex-Gorkha soldiers, and the GoN and the British government had agreed to hold bilateral talks to address their demands.
