President Bhandari stresses coordination among public bodies to curb irregularities and corruption
Kathmandu: President Bidya Devi Bhandari says the Office of Auditor General should be always cautious to furnish suggestions to the government for bringing reforms in the public service delivery.
Addressing the 64th anniversary of the Office of Auditor General in Kathmandu on Wednesday stressed the need for coordination among all the public bodies to curb irregularities and corruption.
Also speaking on the occasion, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma said the government was effortful to clear arrears and enhance the fiscal management. He added that the Finance Ministry was at work to settle the arrears worth 676 billion rupees.
