President Bhandari reshuffles cabinet on recommendation of PM Deuba

Kathmandu: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has reshuffled the cabinet on the recommendation of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Sunday.

As per the reshuffled cabinet, ministers and a state minister have been replaced with new names.

Issuing a statement, the Office of the President informed that President Bidya Devi Bhandari appointed Jivan Ram Shrestha the Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation; Metmani Chaudhary the Urban Development Minister; Bhawani Prasad Khapung the Health and Population Minister; Sher Bahadur Kuwar the Labour, Employment and Social Security Minister and Hira Chandra KC the State Minister for Health and Population.

All the newly appointed ministers are from the CPN Unified Socialist Party.
