Health Ministry planning to vaccinate children between 5 and 12 years against covid-19 from Thursday

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Health is planning to vaccinate children between 5 and 12 years against covid-19 from Thursday.

In the first phase, children from 27 districts including Kathmandu will get vaccinated from the 23rd to the 29th of June.

The Health Ministry has claimed the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine that is being administered from Thursday is 91% effective.

The USA has provided 2.2 million doses of Pfizer BioNTech vaccine to immunize children below 12 and above 5.
