Two arrested with living turtle babies

Kathmandu: Police have arrested two persons with 10 turtles from Koteshwor, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-32 today. Those arrested are 25-year-old Raj Deula and 20-year-old Rahul Deula of Kirtipur Municipality-1.

Police found the turtles kept in bags while carrying out a search after the two who were in a café at Koteshwor started acting in a suspicious manner, the Police Headquarters stated.

Police also confiscated a motorcycle (Ba 99 Pa 4944) used by them and three mobile sets from them. Necessary investigation is underway in this connection, it is stated.
