Nepali Army a reliable land force: Flynn

June 13, Kathmandu: Commanding General of the United States Army Pacific Command, Charles A. Flynn, has commended the Nepali Army (NA) is a reliable land force.

Flynn, who was in Nepal during his four-day official visit, said this following a tour of the Army Command and Staff College at Shivapuri in Kathmandu on Sunday.

He said the Nepali Army was one of the oldest armies in the world.

During his visit to the Staff College, he held meetings with the heads of various faculties in the College and interacted with the trainees as well.

Flynn, who arrived in Nepal on June 9, left for the US on Sunday.
