Commanding General of US Army Pacific region Flynn arrives in Kathmandu

June 9, Kathmandu: The Commanding General of the United States Army Pacific region, Charles A. Flynn, arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday for an official visit to Nepal.

Nepali Army said General Flynn was received at Tribhuwan International Airport by the Vice Chief of Army Staff Lt. General Krishna Bahadur Karki.

During his visit, including special meetings with high-level officials, he will tour Birendra Peace Operations Training Centre and have a view of Mt. Everest.

The US Embassy said on its Twitter handle that General Flynn is in Nepal to mark the 75 years of diplomatic relations between Nepal and the USA.
