Nepali educators attend pedagogy course in Israel

May 20, Kathmandu: A group of twenty-six educators from Nepal have participated in an international course on “Pedagogical Innovations,” which was held from 9 to19 May in Jerusalem, Israel.
The course was conducted by The Aharon Ofri International Training Center in Jerusalem, in cooperation with the Israeli aid agency – MASHAV.
According to the Israeli Embassy in Kathmandu, the training course has aimed at providing new tools and knowledge on the implementation and development of innovation in the educational system in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The participants were also taken on study tours at schools, educational centres teacher training institutions, and pedagogical resource centres in Israel. The seminar also included a visit to tourist sites in Israel.
This is the first group of Nepalis to attend MASHAV training in Israel after the COVID-19 pandemic.
More than 3000 Nepalis have been to Israel so far to participate in different MASHAV Courses related to education, agriculture, health, and entrepreneurship.
