Preliminary lead of independent candidate in Kathmandu metropolis

Kathmandu: According to the preliminary vote count of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Balendra Shah has shown the lead in the counting of 100 votes till 12 noon.

According to the preliminary results, Shah got 22 votes while Sirjana Singh of Nepali Congress got 18 votes and Keshav Sthapit of CPN-UML got 13 votes.

The vote counting has started from wards 1 and 32 of the metropolis. Counting is underway.
