Communication sector’s contribution signification in all changes: Minister Karki

April 6, Kathmandu: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki claimed the communication sector had significantly contributed to every political changes in the country.

Minister Karki said this at a program organized by the Nepal Press Union (NPU) to congratulate the newly elected executive committee of the Sancharika Samuha and the Federation of Nepalese Indigenous Journalists (FONIJ) on Tuesday.

Stating that the government is in favor of press freedom Minister Karki reaffirmed the government’s commitment for continuous collaboration with the media sector.
