83% Nepalese above 18 years vaccinated against covid-19

Kathamandu: Eighty-three per cent of the population above 18 years have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 in Nepal so far.

Speaking at a press briefing organized in the Health Ministry today, Minister Spokesperson Dr. Sangita Mishra informed that 95% of the population above 18 years had received the first dose of the anti-covid-19 vaccines.

Similarly, 94 per cent of people above 12 years have received the first dose of the vaccines while 81 per cent of people above 12 years have been fully vaccinated again the virus.

The government has set a target to vaccinate all the eligible citizens by mid-April this year.
