Chief Minister Raut and British Ambassador Pollitt discuss UKaid projects

March 23, Janakpur: The Chief Minister of Madhesh Province Lalbabu Raut met the British Ambassador to Nepal Nicola Pollitt on Tuesday to discuss the implementation of the British aid agencies -UKaid- funded project in the province.

During the meeting held at the Office of Chief Minister and Council of Ministers at Janakpurdham, the provincial capital of Madhesh Province, the duo discussed the future strategies of the UKaid funded projects.

The British Ambassador had also visited Women Development Centre at Kuwarampur in Janakpurdham and interacted with local women involved in creating Mithila paintings.

During the visit, Ambassador Pollitt pledged to coordinate efforts to promote Mithila paintings.

She also inspected the projects being implemented in the province in support of the UK government.
