Supreme Court annuls writ petition filed against Citizenship Ordinance

Kathmandu: The Supreme Court has annulled the writ petition filed against Citizenship Ordinance.

The joint bench led by Acting Chief Justice Deepak Kumar Karki including justices Mira Khadka, Hari Krishna Karki, Ishwor Prasad Khatiwada, and Dr Anand Mohan Bhattarai scrapped the writ on Wednesday.

A writ was filed against the ordinance issued by the government on June 10 last year.
