President condoles passing away of leftist leader Barma

Kathmandu : President Bidya Devi Bhandari has expressed sorrow over the demise of leftist leader Krishna Raj Barma. The Head-of-the-State paid a tribute to the late leader and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.

“The contribution of Barma will be remembered in the history of Nepal’s political movement,” the President said in a tweet.

Senior leftist leader Barma passed away on Sunday at the age of 93. —
