PM Deuba presents annual reports of government and NSC to President Bhandari

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has presented annual reports of the government of Nepal and the National Security Council (NSC) for the fiscal year 2077/78 BS to President Bidya Devi Bhandari.

Prime Minister Deuba presented the reports that include the government’s major works and achievements to the President amidst a special ceremony organized at Sital Niwas on Sunday.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister briefed the President that the National Defense Policy 2077 BS had been implemented following its formulation.

Prime Minister Deuba added that border outposts had been set up at many places along the southern and northern borders of the country to strengthen and systematize border security.

The Prime Minister further said production of hydroelectricity was expedited, relief programs were run and social security schemes were made effective during this period.

He stated that the government highly prioritized the vaccination drive against the Covid-19 and as a result, more than 80 per cent of the country’s population above 18 years had been fully vaccinated against the virus.
