300,000 visit Pashupatinath temple till 11 am

Kathmandu: Devotees continue to visit the Pashupatinath temple on the occasion of the Shivaratri festival.

About 3 hundred thousand visitors have visited the Pashupatinath temple till 11 am.

Spokesperson of Pashupati Area Development Trust, Rewati Rawan Adhikari said, arrangements have been made for one million devotees to visit the Pashupati temple, today.

About 10,000 security personnel including 5,000 Nepal Police, 3,500 Armed Police Force, National Investigation Department, and Nepal Army have been deployed in the Pashupati area.
