Maoist to oppose MCC if tabled in Parliament

 February 16, Kathmandu: The CPN Maoist Center has decided to oppose the US grant project Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

At a meeting of the parliamentary party held at Singha Durbar on Wednesday, the CPN Maoist Centre will vote in opposition to the MCC pact if it will be tabled in the parliament, according to the Chief Whip of the party Dev Gurung.

Gurung said that the Maoist Centre would leave the coalition government if the government tabled the pact in the parliament without discussion.
