Home Ministry alerts against misuse of adopted children

January 29, Kathmandu: The Ministry of Home Affairs has cautioned against the reported misuse of children that have been provided protection.

The Ministry’s move follows the complaints that such children have been involved in illegal activities in the name of providing protection.

The statement issued by the Ministry on Friday informed that it requires approval from the respective district administration on the recommendation of the local level in case of transporting children from one place to another through any individual or organization.

In case of transporting children to foreign countries for academic purpose, it requires NOC from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology or it requires approval from the respective local administration.
