Weather expected to improve gradually from Friday

January 27, Kathmandu: The weather, affected due to impact of westerly low pressure system for the past few days, is likely to improve gradually from Friday.

Senior meteorologist at the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Barun Poudel, has said that there is possibility of gradual improvement of weather as the weather system is expected to weaken from Friday.

He said the sky across the country would remain partial to general cloudy till Thursday.

Issuing a notice for next 24 hours, the Department predicted light rainfall at some places of Far-West,Karnali and Lumbini provinces and one or two places of remaining provinces. It also cautioned people to adopt necessary safety and precaution to be protected from cold as there was possibility of light snowfall at some places of high-hilly and Himalayan region of the country.
