Parties agree on going for elections for choosing Province 2’s name and capital

January 12, Kathmandu: The political parties have agreed on holding elections regarding Province 2’s name and provincial capital in the upcoming meetings of the provincial assembly.

The next meeting of the provincial assembly has been called January 16 after the parties agreed on tabling the proposal to hold elections on name and capital.

According to CPN (Maoist Centre)’s provincial parliamentary leader Bharat Prasad Shah, the parties will table their proposal regarding name and capital on January 16 and the elections will be held on January 17.
