CIB submits reports on Lalita Niwas Land scam to Kathmandu District Attorney

Kathmandu: The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has completed the investigation on Lalita Niwas land scam and submitted its report to the office of district attorney.    

CIB Spokesperson Shyam Kumar Mahato informed the media that separate reports of four cases were submitted to the Kathmandu District Attorney on Thursday.

The CIB had earlier initiated the investigation by taking permission from the court for arrest warrant against 300 suspects.

The reports have showed that various high profile people are involved in the scam. However the names of the accused have not be disclosed yet.   

The Kathmandu District Attorney said that it began the necessary works on the report today itself as the cases must be filed before January 11.
