Nepali Congress postpones district conventions in remaining 16 districts

January 5, Kathmandu: The district conventions of the Nepali Congress in the remaining 16 districts- which were scheduled to be held on January 10 – have been postponed.

The party’s central election committee said that the conventions had to be postponed due to the National Assembly elections being held on January 26.

Earlier, the party had made public the schedule for district conventions on January 10.

The Nepali Congress has rescheduled the conventions for January 29.

Even though the 14th general convention of the Nepali Congress has ended, the district conventions of 16 districts are still pending.
