Government is committed to conserving the beauty of Pokhara and its lakes: Home Minister

Pokhara: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has said the government is committed to conserving the beauty of Pokhara and its lakes.

Inaugurating the 23rd edition of Pokhara Festival organised by the Restaurant and Bar Association Nepal on Friday, Home Minister Khand stressed the need for the local government’s responsible and sensible actions in retaining the city’s beauty.

The Home Minster also said reports related to the conservation of the Phewa Lake would be studied and implemented. .

On the occasion, Minister for Tourism, Industry, Commerce and Supplies of Gandaki Province Mani bhadra Sharma said the provincial government was ready to cooperate with the private sector to work hand in hand for the development of tourism sector.
