Discussion held on election security strategy

Kathmandu: Government has started discussion with office-bearers of stakeholder agencies regarding the election to the post of member of National Assembly.

Suggestions were gathered about security strategy and logistics management in a joint meeting among various ministers and secretaries and representatives of security bodies on Monday.

The meeting was held under the chair of Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand.

Home Ministry Spokesperson, Pradeep Koirala said discussion was held over various issues of security concern for free, fair and peaceful election as well as assessment of resources required for election security and its management.
