Government administering Covid-19 vaccines for children in 57 districts from tomorrow

Kathmandu: The government is administering the Covid-19 vaccines for children in 57 districts from tomorrow.

The Ministry of Health said the first dose of the Moderna vaccine will be administered to the age group of 12 to 17 years from tomorrow till December 29th. Similarly, the second dose of the vaccine will be administered from January 16th to 26th.

Similarly, the Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health Dr Sangita Mishra said the government is also preparing to administer the Pfizer vaccine to the children of eight districts from December 28th to January 6th.

The modern vaccine will be administered in 11 districts of Province 1, 5 districts of Province 2, 7 districts of Bagmati Province, 9 districts of Gandaki Province, 9 districts of Karnali and 7 districts in Sudur Paschim province.

Similarly, Pfizer vaccines would be administered in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kavre, Chitwan, Sindhuli, Dadeldhura and Surkhet.
