NC 14th General Convention: Vote counting on, Second round beckoning

December 14, Kathmandu: The counting of votes cast in the election held on Monday under the Nepali Congress’ 14th general convention is in progress at the local Rashtriya Sabha Griha (City Hall).

As per the latest vote tally, Prime Minister and party president Sher Bahadur Deuba is leading the number of votes for the post of president.

Of the 3,181 votes counted till now, Deuba got 1,506 votes, Dr. Shekhar Koirala got 1,178 votes, Prakash Man Singh got 254 votes, Vimalendra Nidhi got 173 votes and Kalyan Gurung got 15 votes.
