Government to issue travel advisory targeting travelers arriving Nepal from countries reporting Omicron variant of Covid 19

The government has decided to issue a travel advisory to manage travellers arriving in Nepal from the countries that have reported the cases of Omicron variant of Covid-19.

Unveiling the latest cabinet decisions, Minister for Communication and Information Technology and Government Spokesperson Gyanendra Bahadur Karki said the government would soon issue the travel advisory as a precautionary measure to avoid spread of the Omicron variant in Nepal.

Minister Karki also informed that a delegation under the leadership of the Prime Minister would be formed to participate in the virtual summit on democracy to be organized by US President Joe Biden on December 9 to 10.
