UML 10th National Congress: Election process starting from 8 am today

November 29, Chitwan: The election process is starting from 8 am Monday for the election of the party’s new leadership under the CPN (UML) 10th National General Convention. The party’s Central Election Commission has made public the election schedule along with revision.

As per the latest election schedule, the candidates would be handed the application forms from 8 to 9.20 am and the registration of candidacy done between 8 am to 9.30 am on Monday. The preliminary name list of the candidates would be published at 10.30 am, Chief of the Election Commission Bijaya Subba said.

The time for filing complaints against the candidates is between 10.30 am to 10.45 am while the complaints would be examined and a decision would be taken on them at 10.50 am.

Likewise, those candidates wishing to withdraw their candidacy can do so between 11.55 am to 12 noon.

The final name list of candidates would be published at 12.5 and the voting would start only from 9 in the evening.
