16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence starting today

November 25, Kathmandu: The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is starting across the world including Nepal from Thursday. The campaign is marked for 16 days every year – starting from November 25 till December 10 – to raise awareness against gender-based violence.

The campaign is being marked in Nepal under the theme “Let’s Start from Home, Let’s End Violence Against Women”

Meanwhile, President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba have said that the campaign should be utilised to raise awareness against violence against women.
