President Bhandari seeks all side’s efforts for conservation of Chure region

Mahottari: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has the government should work with all concerned sides for the conservation of the Chure region.

Inaugurating the stadium constructed at Matihani of Mahottari on Monday, President Bhandari stressed the need for checking erosion of the Chure region to preserve the arable lands from turning into desert.

President Bhandari also expressed her belief the construction of the stadium would help develop the sports sector in Nepal.

On this occasion, the president applauded the Province 2 government’s campaign of promoting education to daughters. She also suggested the federal government expand the campaign across the country.

Also speaking at the program, Province 2 Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut said the province government forwarded the daughter’s education campaign realizing the significance of the participation of educated women in the government for development.
