NC forms Main Preparation Committee for 14th general convention under coordination of PM and NC President Deuba

The Central Working Committee of the ruling Nepali Congress has formed the Main Preparation Committee for the party’s 14^th general convention under the coordination of Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Party Spokesperson Bishwo Prakash Shama informed that central office barriers, central members, invited central members, federal parliament members and provincial assembly members of the party will remain members in the main preparation committee.

Likewise, the Nepali Congress has designated 7 central leaders as coordinators for holding the party’s provincial conventions.

Nepali Congress leader Pradip Paudel said a meeting of the party held on Sunday designated party leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula as the coordinator for Province 1, leader Ramesh Rijal as the coordinator for Province 2, leader Prakash Man Shingh as the coordinator for Bagmati Province and leader Gopal Maan Shrestha as the coordinator for Gandaki Province.

Similarly, the meeting also assigned the role of coordinators to leader Bala Krisha Khand for Lumbini Province, leader Jiban Bahadur Shahi for Karnali Province and leader Dilendra Prasad Badu for Sudurpaschim Province.

Leader Paudel further said the meeting also discussed general conventions related to the party’s Public Contact Committee and sister organizations.
