Seven killed in Salyan bus accident

Dang: At least seven people have been killed in a road accident that occurred near Kharkhola of Kapurkot in Salyan today.

According to the District Police Office’s deputy superintendent of police Govinda Thapa, among the dead, two are girls.

The bus (Na 2 Kha 2552) was en route to Tulsipur of Dang from Salyan when it met with the accident. It is estimated that at least 30 passengers were travelling on the bus. It fell some 200 meters.

The rescue efforts are underway, said the police. Further details of the accident are awaited.
