PM Deuba returns home after attending World Leaders Summit in Glasgow

November 4, Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba returned home on Thursday morning after attending the 26th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) held in Glasgow, United Kingdom on November 1 and 2.
Prime Minister Deuba had left for the conference on October 29 leading a Nepali delegation to attend the conference.
The delegation led by Prime Minister Deuba had included Minister for Forests and Environment Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Bharatraj Poudyal, Secretary at the Ministry of Forests and Environment Dr Prem Narayan Kandel, Secretary at the Ministry of Finance Madhukumar Marasini, Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs Tek Narayan Pandey, Secretary at the National Planning Commission Kewal Prasad Bhandari and Chairman of the National Nature Conservation Fund, Madhav Bahadur Karki.
Prime Minister Deuba had addressed the World Leaders Summit, under COP-26, on November 1.
During his visit, Prime Minister Deuba also held bilateral meetings with various heads of state and government and other dignitaries.
