PM Deuba holds cordial meeting with Minister for London Scully

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba who is in London to attend the woldleaders Summit of COP26 has held a cordial meeting with Minister for London Paul Scully on Sunday.

Foreign Affairs Secretary Bharatraj Paudel informed that the meeting focused on the energy sector of Nepal and expanding UK’s assistance to Nepal in technology transfer.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Deuba urged the UK government to help bring new technologies and invest in green and clean energy in Nepal.

British Minister Scully vowed to support Nepal in the energy sector after holding discussions with concerned bodies.

PM Deuba held a meeting with representatives of the Ex-Gorkha Army Association today itself. The Prime Minister urged them to put demands as per the laws of the UK.

Likewise, the Prime Minister also held a discussion with the Chief Operating Officer of the World Energy Council Taniya Bauman.

Similarly, in a program organized by the Nepali Embassy in London, PM Deuba expressed the views of Nepal on the impact surfaced due to climate change.
