Energy Minister urges entrepreneurs to build infrastructure to replace LPG with electricity

October 11, Kathmandu: Minister for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, Pampha Bhusal has urged the entrepreneurs to construct structures for operating all types of home appliances with the use of electricity within the coming year.

She said this while addressing a greetings exchange program organized o Sunday by the Mahalaxmi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Lalitpur on the occasion of the Bijaya Dashami, Deepawali, Nepal Sambat New Year 1142, and the Chhath festivals.

Stating that the availability of energy, road, and drinking water was the basis for social and economic transformation, she said the time had come to use hydropower by replacing all types of energy sources.

On the occasion, Minister Bhusal expressed the commitment to provide electricity to the amount demanded by the transport and industry sectors in the coming days.
