More than 600 cases of diarrhea reported in Kapilvastu

Diarrhea spread in Krishna Nagar Municipality of Kapilvastu since Monday has not come under control yet.

Shivaraj Hospital in the district informed that nearly 6 hundred people suffering from diarrhea are receiving treatment in various medical institutions including the hospital.

Dr. Mukesh Chaudhary working at Shivaraj Hospital said 4 hundred and 30 diarrhea patients were receiving treatment in Shivaraj hospital, and 1 hundred and 50 other patients are undergoing treatment at local medical institutions in Kapilvastu.

Dr. Chaudhary further said diarrhea patients were increasing in ward number 7, 8 and 9 of Krishna Nagar Municipality.

As per his information, the reason behind the diarrhea has not been detected as the test report of the sample stool and water is yet to arrive.
