Nepali Congress votes to elect new leadership in Kathmandu Metropolis

The Nepali Congress has voted to elect new leadership in Kathmandu Metropolis.

Nepali Congress Kathmandu District Election Officer Narahari Acharya said a total of 13 hundred and 29 votes were cast in the metropolis convention of the party.

As per the latest update of vote count, Nil Kaaji Shakya has been leading the vote count in the position of the party president in the metropolis.

Congress Election Officer Acharya said, the party’s municipal convention in Dakshinkaali Municipality was halted as ward convention in a ward had been halted.

Likewise, the party has been seeking consensus to elect the party’s office bearers in Kritipur Municipality as well.
