No order relating to banning gatherings: Lalitpur DAO

October 1, Kathmandu: The Lalitpur District Administration Office(DAO) has clarified that no order related to a ban on organising meetings, assemblies and gatherings within the district due to COVID-19 has been issued.

Earlier the district administration office had granted permission to organise any meeting, assembly and interaction without affecting law and order.

Administration’s spokesperson Lalit Kumar Basnet said there was no change in the decision to this effect taken earlier by the administration adding that the district administration’s decision to allow the organisation of meetings and assemblies following the health protocol would remain in force.
