Kathmandu District administration bans public gatherings and ceremonies citing persistent Covid-19 risk

The Kathmandu District Administration has imposed restrictions on crowds, fairs and public ceremonies from today midnight considering persistent covid-19 infection risk.

Issuing an order on Thursday, the Kathmandu District Administration Office banned the public gatherings, and other ceremonies in the district as the major festivals are approaching near.

The order issued by Chief District Officer of Kathmandu Govinda Prasad Rijal urged the people to celebrate the festivals only for formality.
