PM Deuba says government prioritizes tourism sector for national development and economic growth

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba says government has set different programs prioritizing the tourism sector for the development and economic growth in the country.

Inaugurating the newly constructed building of Nepal Mountaineering Association in Kathmandu on the occasion of 42^nd world tourism day on Monday, Prime Minister Deuba said the government was ready to collaborate with the stakeholders for development of tourism infrastructures and identification of new tourism destinations.

On the occasion, secretary at the ministry of culture, tourism and civil aviation Yadhav Koirala stressed on the need for collaboration between government and private sector for tourism development.

Likewise, Nepal Mountaineering Association chair Santa Bir Lama called government for bringing the tourism packages to revive the corona hit tourism industry.
