Energy Minister Bhusal unveils Nepal’s roadmap for achieving SDG 7

September 20, Kathmandu: With the goal of providing easy access to clean energy to all Nepalis by 2030, the Government of Nepal (GoN) has begun the implementation of the roadmap relating to energy included in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal on Monday unveiled Nepal’s roadmap for achieving the Sustainable Development Goal relating to access to clean energy (SDG 7).

The roadmap aims to provide access to affordable and clean energy to all by 2030, increase the amount of renewable energy, and increase energy efficiency.

On the occasion, Minister Bhusal stressed the need for collaboration among development partners and other stakeholders to achieve the SDGs.
