Foreign Heads of States, Govts send messages on Nepal’s Constitution Day

September 19, Kathmandu: Various Heads of States and of governments have extended best wishes to Nepal and Nepalis on the occasion of the Constitution Day on Sunday.
Addressing President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, the foreign Heads of States and of governments sent separate congratulatory messages.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal informed that such messages of best wishes came from 23 countries.
On the occasion, President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, sent the best wishes message to President Bidya Devi Bhandari, stating that the relations between India and Nepal are marked by enduring historical, cultural, economic and familial linkages.
Addressing Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi wrote in the best wishes message staring as the world inches towards recovery from the unprecedented COVID pandemic, India reiterates its continued and steadfast support to Nepal in its efforts to deal with the challenges of the pandemic.
Modi further said that he looked forward to closely working with Nepal to give further momentum to the strong ties between the two countries and the realization of the shared goals of peace and prosperity of the peoples through a vibrant and multidimensional partnership.
Similarly, the US President Joseph R Biden extended congratulations to President Bhandari, stating that Nepal and the US worked together to combat the COVID 19 pandemic, tackle the climate crisis, and improve our economic ties.
Moreover, the US President said the educational, business, social and political relations between the two countries continue to grow as people-to-people ties bring both the countries together.
Similarly, Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his best wishes Sending a congratulatory message to President Bidya Devi Bhandari .
President Putin said that relations between Russia and Nepal were friendly and expressed confidence that bilateral cooperation in various fields would be further enhanced.
President Putin also expressed confidence that the bilateral relationship would move forward in the interests of the people of both countries and that it would ensure regional security and stability.
He wished President Bhandari good health and success as well as peace and welfare of the Nepali people.
