Nepali woman migrant worker dies in Kuwait

August 27, Kathmandu: A 42-year-old woman migrant from Parbat district has died in Kuwait on August 24.

According to the Embassy of Nepal in Kuwait, Putali Pariyar of Kushma Municipality-11 in Parbat district had reached Kuwait for overseas employment some years ago.

Second Secretary at the Embassy Shreekrishna Silwal confirmed that a preliminary report was received at the Embassy of Nepal about the demise of Pariyar.

The Embassy said that Pariyar was an undocumented migrant worker in Kuwait.

The family of Pariyar has been urged to come in contact with the Embassy of Nepal in Kuwait for facilitation in the legal processes.
