Radio Nepal and Bagmati Provincial Government sign agreement

August 27, Hetuada: Radio Nepal and the Bagmati provincial government have signed an agreement to broadcast a radio program titled “Bagmati Pradesh Gatibidhi”(Bagmati province’s activities). 

The agreement to broadcast a program covering development activities and public service delivery, among other important activities of the Bagmati provincial government was signed by Radio Nepal Director Khagendra Khatri and Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law Madan Bhujel in the presence of province’s Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Keshav Raj Pandey. 

As per the agreement, Radio Nepal will broadcast a 20-minute program called “Bagmati Pradesh Gatibidhi” every Wednesday at 8:15 am.  

Speaking on the occasion, Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Pandey said the program would play an important role in informing the people about the various activities undertaken by the provincial government and help make the government’s activities transparent. 

Also speaking at the signing ceremony, Director of Radio Nepal Khagendra Khatri said that since Radio Nepal was accessible to a wide range of audiences in the province and across the country, a large number of listeners in the province would benefit from the program
