Kathmandu Valley lifts restrictions on movement of vehicles after 8:00 pm

August 25, Kathmandu: The Kathmandu Valley has lifted restrictions on the movement of private and public vehicles from 8:00 pm in the Kathmandu Valley.

A meeting of Chief district officers of the three districts in the Kathmandu Valley held yesterday, decided to lift the restriction.

Chief District Officer of Kathmandu, Kali Prasad Parajuli, told that the provision imposed on private and public vehicles has been removed adding that public and private vehicles could be operated even after 8:00 pm from Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the prohibitory order imposed till September 1 to prevent and control COVID-19 pandemic is still in force.
